-my Dearest Beloved Child- Poem by Maylene Galang

-my Dearest Beloved Child-

Rating: 5.0

When I first laid my eyes on your face,
And my hands started to touch your soft and fragile body,
I felt such joy and happiness that was beyond measure;
A delight and satisfaction that was exceedingly overwhelming.

When I held you close with the most tenderness care into my bosom,
And began pouring warm and gentle kisses all over your body,
A tingle of excitement and a sense of completeness spurred into my heart;
A feeling of great pleasure I never knew existing before.

When your hands tenderly brushed into my face,
And your innocent smile satiated the air with warmth and affection,
You completed my every moment, the very existence of my being.
Truly you’re the most valuable gift from above, the most cherished of all.

When unforeseen dull moments come by swiftly,
Your faintest sounds were wonderful melodies that exuded harmony.
They amused my heart and enlivened my spirit with such cheerfulness and solace.
No better song, not even a single hymn could ever compare the most beautiful chime
that’s only coming from you.

When I closed my eyes, it’s your face that I often see in my most peaceful rest.
Your image kept fluttering into my dreams and in my visions.
I was obsessed of you; never wanted to leave your sight even just for a single moment.
The love of a mother to her child-so pure, so sacred, so devoted and unconditional.

Oh, my dearest beloved child, my most precious one.
Your presence consummated my life with absolute perfection.
Your beauty beheld my breath away and your loveliness satisfied my every senses.
You’re my everything -my strength, my inspiration, my joy, my love, my life…forever.
