I used to look at you when you were small
Smile would find my face without a faint
I remember the moments when I held you tight
Thinking how adorable you were on my sight

Growing up together, sharing all fun
Happy were those times when laughter filled the air
Giggling side by side, being silly all the time
Oblivious of days, unmindful of tomorrows

Precious are the memories we shared with one another
Like gems we held and treasured with delight
Shining, sparkling, glittering, with its luster and vivacity
No appraisal could ever match, the value that’s ours to keep

Reaching out and offering each other’s shoulder to cry on
Listening with open ears and with kind understanding
Caring and comforting, encouraging and helping one another
In distress we stick together, with two heads we aimed to fight

The bond of friendship holds us tight and close
Distance is of no matter, for we build the bridge
The passageway that is broad, bright, and strong
Cannot be tossed away, nor be swayed apart

Tender loving care, we unselfishly accord to one another
Sensitive to feelings, always perceptive to emotions
Affectionate toward each other, united with common goals
Hand in hand we held each other’s arms, together we set forth to succeed

The air and the wind, the oceans and the mountains set us apart
But in thoughts and spirits, we’re thronged closely together
Knitted with fondness, warmth, kindness and tenderness
Avowed to support and be there for each other

We’re the best friends and the best companions we’ve ever got
Unstoppable by time, distance, or any state or condition
Our devotion for one another transcends all boundaries
Illuminating and radiating with our smiles and laughter

Sisters in heart, that’s what we truly are, and will ever be
No matter where we are, and what we’ve become of
Our sisterly love for each other will always see us through
In thick and thin, forever we will be...the sisters in heart
