My Dearly Missed Friend - Poem by Collin Monroe

A friendship born some close year after our birth
A priceless treasure to me it was worth
I sometimes wonder why the sudden distance
If sometimes you too in return, miss my existence
I hope one day we may be close again
Bringing back even more joy into my life, of that I'm certain
In the meantime I'll think about the times we could spend
Hoping we'll make some new memories in the future, my dearly missed friend
