My dog is with me in moments of danger
and during peaks of sunlight so bright.
He always strolls proudly beside me,
alerting me of every potential plight.

My dog is my devoted friend and companion
who guides and looks out for me.
We regularly walk life's path together,
proud and obedient he always seems to be.

My dog is with me in depressing times
and during moments of happiness too.
Regardless of any adverse situation,
he is a protector that is loyal and true.
