My ears ring endlessly—
Every day, all day.
As if someone softly plays a flute,
A melody that echoes in my soul,
Calling me back to the bells of Alast,
To eternity's vow.
This ringing, I know, is truth—
A sacred sound,
Yet at times it swells unbearably,
Pressing upon me like a weight—
Too heavy to bear.
'Indeed, We will cast upon you—
A heavy word."
The verse whispers its assurance:
Certainly, these sounds are real,
This melody, divine.
And so, I wish the ringing to linger,
The calling to never fade.
Let my life be lived in its music,
An endless hymn of truth and light.
