My Eternity Poem by zarina binda

My Eternity

Whispering voices surrounding me,
Clouding my thoughts with their melody
Singing soft their lullaby.
Making me unaware of the ages passing by
Standing still in time itself, I close my eyes and listen.
Dreams, words and memories,
All flowing in and out of me.
I do not mind its just part of the way,
Love is lost and gained and lost,
But I continue on my journey.
Where do I go?
No one knows. Not even me.
I just keep on following and I will see.
I leave the old voices behind,
Finding new ones that will follow me.
Until I have passed their realm they don’t cease.
But that will not keep me.
My road through eternity has never been a quiet one.
The world spins around me.
I’m just a mere shadow.
Whispering voices surrounding me.
Telling me their history.
Sometimes I listen and sometimes I don’t
Sometimes I’ll stop and sometimes I won’t.
I am the silence of the world.
I not often let myself be heard.
You have the shattered living world surrounding thee.
But I rather keep my solid eternity.
