my friend his wife are both Roman Catholic
in decisions they never beseech seek think
pray to or include God to enemy Satan slay
my friend still proclaims faith in this ungodly world
my friend still believes firmly in this ungodly world
forgetting Jesus said my kingdom is not of this world
serve the creator of this system of things never
with God in heaven I aspire to dwell forever
I constantly strive reach up to God my soul deliver

John 18: 36 (New International Version, ©2011) 36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”
John 12: 31 (New International Version, ©2011) 31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.
An explanation of John 12: 27-33 “When Jesus Christ lived a perfect life and died for the sins of men, He qualified to dethrone Satan. The 'god of this world' has been defeated! However, he remains active among us until the King of kings returns and sets up His government on earth.” Richard T. Ritenbaugh Basic Doctrines: Satan's Origin and Destiny.
