My Favourite Surroundings
Fresh petals of summer,
Fine flowers that grow,
In natures surroundings,
Their radiant glow,
Reach out to my emotions,
Feeling so calm,
I'm here amongst pleasures,
That make me feel warm,
For there's nothing like nature,
To bring out the best,
A picture of beauty,
As I sit and rest,
Tranquil and peaceful,
Beneath the bright sun,
My favourite surroundings,
Until my days done.
