My First Love One Sided As Usual Poem by me poet yeps poet

I once sat
next to a German gal....
years ago many years
ago in class...

during breaks between classes...
she never left...
I sat besides her always....
she never spoke with me ...
but continued to read...

she was so beautiful...
my eyes off her I couldn't take...

and
so I sat besides her all day ...
was I a security guard...
yeah that you may now say..

she never ever looked my way...
till one day
my elbow touched hers
and she said
Miss
I quickly said sorry
don't take me amiss
she said nothing

Miss it's now okay
I have a dummy sitting besides me

she for once smiled at me
for the first and last time
and next day did she flee
never to be with me
nor did any one her see
not even me
