My Friends Poem by Kathryn Miller

My friends are here to protect me,
To keep me on track,
And to help guide me when the going gets rough,
To listen when I have something to say,
To give me support when needed most,
But to keep my friends I have to be a friend right back to them,
And offer the same support and a little bit more,
I have made some great friends over the years,
And plan to make many more,
I hope my friends enjoy my company as much as I enjoy theirs,
I have learned a lot from them,
And try to teach them something too,
That is something yes that I will try to do.
