My Gift From God - Komal Sujeet Poem by Sujeet Asif

My Gift From God - Komal Sujeet

Rating: 5.0

'Gods Blessings on his witty servant'
Alone I used to think at large;
will there be someone for me as well.
Has God almighty cared for me?
Will there be someone made for me?
Until I found my soulmate in her;
With Emralds and Diamonds cast on her.
Up went my eyes to pray to God,
Grant me this heavenly abode.
With tears in eyes I tried to Pray,
all my wits used up to convince.
He smiled and said 'granted dear',
Your faith in me has won her for you.
But now I realise that it was his plan,
he had created her in advance.
Oh! So caring and loving he is of me,
for he is God and father of me.
God, no words to thank you for the Blessings,
yet the witty man continues to ask for more.
Do bless as you have always did,
but now to 'we' rather than to 'me'.
