My Glorious Homeland Poem by Kiki Materi

My Glorious Homeland

My glorious homeland
High in the blue sky I saw her
Through a hole of a cloud
The so small piece of earth
A yellow sun how it sees her
The blue and white big and small
The seas rhythmically lick the land
Mothers with their hands at their sides
The neighborhoods are full of children of the world
The blue and white big and small
High as you look above this earth
