My Guiding Place

I thank you Lord that You are my guiding place
For it's unto You I can always come
When the burdens of the day grow greater
You still take those burdens on
And I can come to you with my brokeness
And find my strength in Your love
How I praise You heavenly Father
For the gifting of your Son

My prayers are heard...I know it
Such is our relationship
When care upon care comes along
I know you're in the midst of it
Help me to fully surrender
My all in all to Thee
So that I might offer back with a rejoicing heart
Because I know my Lord that you've heard me

Though weariness may take its toll
Still I will toil on
For there's still work in the kingdom for me to do
With your help Lord I'll keep plugging along
Praise God I have a taste of heaven on earth
Praise God for my family
Keep me strong in your work Lord
And I'll give the blessings back to Thee

I thank you Lord that you are my guiding place
My wisdom from above
You know about all the circumstances at hand
And overshadow me with your love
May my life be a testimony
So that others around might see
That I have an ever present loving God
Who guides me most mightily!
