My Happiness Is My Streingth Poem by Irene Edwards

My Happiness Is My Streingth

My happiness is not easily obtained
And yet I'm easily amused.

What makes me happy
Is wareing all black.
What amuses me is
When people fall out of their chair.
What makes me happy is
Going to Great America.
What amuses me is
hearing little jokes.
What makes me happy is
Finding reall friends I can count on.

There's a big difference between
What amuses me and what makes me happy
One is easy and one is hard.
When I'm amused I'll admit
It can be easy to hurt me.
But when I happy It's very
Hard to come anywhere near hurting me.

They try and try to hurt
Me no matter how I feel
And I'm used to it.

Today they push me down,
Punch me, kick me but tomarrow
I'll be back on my feet And
All I have to do is think about
What makes me happy.

So go ahead and hurt me
I don't care I'll just get
back on my feet sooner or later
And all I have to do is
Think about what makes me happy.
