My heart smiled for you on the day that we met
There has not been a feeling that quite matched it yet
It beat a lot faster as we sat side by side
And there was a feeling of warmth deep inside
Your smile lit the room as we shared that first look
You opened your feelings as you would a good book
And I knew from the moment my heart skipped a beat
That you were the one who swept me off my feet
