My Heart, This Eve Poem by james watkin

My Heart, This Eve

Subdued, this eve, by a brood
Of gentler quiets
My heart. As varied, that blown
Leaf-like, of upsets.

From these life-saving places.
Each a fog-breathed pond's.
Heart, of weeping willow hung;
That no more desponds.
