My Hens Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

My Hens

1)My hens?

Today i am not in the best of moods
I sent someone to town to get my goods
I rubbed my hands,
Expecting my hens
The thick guy turns up with a mother goose

2) Chickens

Curiosity killed the cat so they say
How else do we learn anything?
If we don't check things out at bay?
Check it out if its something?
Knowledge is the beginning of truth
Enables you to decide to sign a truce
Not just to run around like chickens
So scared you hide inside the kitchen
