My Liberty Poem by Tricia D'cruz

My Liberty

Confused, I had two views of insight
My convictions came in pairs
Myself and I, kept me in despair
Unleashed, when my heart and soul unite

I no longer hide from failure
I realize it did me a favour
I have nothing left to redeem
But to go on and live my dream

All these scars, reminder of where i've been
All these scars, yet, I'm still standing
