My Life Line - My Daughter Poem by Dipali Kamani

My Life Line - My Daughter

I hear voices saying it’s time to play
I see shadows leading me to the day
I feel the touch of a blessing which I’d prayed
I imagine nothing but the fact which is to stay.
I sobbed and dried my tears yesterday,
I smile and laugh now out of nothing,
True life and peace has dawned on me,
Am everything and every bit today
Happiness and laughter and joy
I’ve found my life – my daughter
