My Little Piece Of Heaven Poem by Rachel BaByBeAr Anderson

My Little Piece Of Heaven

We sit in the cold field.
Talking and shivering.
Wondering about many things.
Listining to the songs, echoing from the car.

We sit on the bench beside our mate
Snuggling into his arms and feeling good.
Warming up and watching everyone else.
Playing softly in the night.

We hear our song and get up to dance
singing as we hop up and down.
remembering the words and shouting over the music.
being joined by others who feel like dancing.

We wonder off into the field, for a small adventure
tripping through the dark and stumbling on the mud.
We slowly walk back, the bright lights guiding us,
passing many others on the way.

We drink our hot chocolate and nibble on biscuits,
feeling the warmth drown our body
once again we snuggle up on our bench
feeling relaxed and peacefull

We hear our names being called
hugging each other as we leave
stumbling once more tward our parents
waiting impatiently by the cars

I see you fade into the dark
I remember this night
And keep it in my mind
as my little piece of heaven.
