My Little Secret Poem by Dr Anthony Onoja

My Little Secret

I have a little secret I wish to share with you
Yes you, and you alone I wish to tell this to
In cold in winter, perhaps I tell you in summer,
spring or autumn, who knows which will be better

I know you did not see it coming
Yes, I got you now, you seems tense to hear the
little secret I wish to share with you
Why do you think I want to tell you anyway?
Have we met?
Why then are you kin to hear it all?
Ah! you are expecting a tale full of fury
Maybe! romance and break-ups
We all experience that anyway
Nothing special to talk about but just remember
I will tell you someday my little secret

Yes, someday when all ears are shut within these walls
And the earth has lost her voice
when the moon moan with soft passion from whispering wind
and the Angelic myriad sings across these void

Then will I whisper it so calmly to evoke beauty
Strings with the seven harps across the seven mountains
Allowing it to diffuse your emotion like a lullaby
With a dainty smiles, bluish flames and red candle light
I share my little secret with you "I love you"
Stay alive, stand tall and stand strong for
there is always hope when we sing together across the void
