My Lost Love Poem by Gert Strydom

My Lost Love

If I meet you face to face once again,
what will we do then?
Will we ignore each other,
about one another not at all bother?

Probably we will kiss and embrace
looking at each other’s face
and act as if nothing can quench the spark,
the feeling that returns at a time and place.
