My Love Poem by Randy McClave

My Love

My love it cannot be measured
With any meter or measuring device
My love it is of honor and treasured
To own it, there is a vow and not a price,
My love it cannot be weighed
With any scales created or that is known
My love it cannot be used or played
But it can be possessed, and also owned,
My love it will last forever
No watch or calendar can measure it
My love it cannot or will not sever
To receive, you must only commit,
My love it will never die
Even when I am buried into the ground
My love then will be in the sky
And it will live in the breeze and on its sound.
