My Love For The Divine Light Is Inborn Poem by Mohammad Younus

My Love For The Divine Light Is Inborn

My love for the divine light is inborn—
A pure grace, a precious gift from the Source.
Not a day passes without thoughts of this light;
Without it, hidden truths remain unseen.

With divine light, my heart beats in perfect tune,
Echoing the sacred sound of love: Hu, Hu...
Joy overflows, for the light is my strength;
Without it, I wander lost, severed from all connection.

Before it illuminated my path,
I was shrouded in the shadows of illusion.
But when the divine light graced my sight,
I knew it was sent to unveil my true self.

Now I hear the echo of love: Hu, Hu...
And see my essence bathed in its golden glow.
The light lifts me high and brings forth my smile.
Though I once wondered where it had been so long,
I'm grateful to know it was always within.

For too long, I sought it outside myself,
But now, in love's gentle call,
I feel its warm touch, and my heart truly sees—
I am the very source of this light.

Words falter to express my transcendence
From the depths of darkness to the embrace of light,
And what's harder still is concealing the wisdom
This radiant light has unveiled to my soul.

You are everything—my true essence and home.
I am divine light, and in this truth, I shine.
You are the reason for my existence,
And I rejoice in the sacred sound of love, Hu, Hu...

You are my reason for being the sole cause of my light.
For you are me, and I am you—We are one, united in divine unity.
Only the ignorant dualists say:
'you are someone, and me someone else."
