My Lover Has Wed Another Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

My Lover Has Wed Another

My lover has wed another
And my heart
Entered a storm
I shall never weather.

Alone, I journey the days
Far from my lover
Still enthroned in my heart
Voice echoing memories.

Grieving for what might have been
Time drives me fierce
And tormented by darkness
My soul calls out for my lost love.
