My Mother, My Guardian

She presents herself with poise, elegance, style and grace,
With what ever intricate challenges she may face.
She is one woman that you do not want to provoke,
She will rise to the occasion and never will she choke.

She has an alluring charisma and a charming individuality,
She has a thirst for life and prevailing proclivity.
She has a captivating aura about her, an intriguing divinity,
She maintains a composer of timeless serenity.

She will no doubt help another in need when given the choice,
You will not soon forget the soothing sound of her voice.
She gives an abundance of aid and expects nothing in return,
She is an exceptionally considerate individual as you will learn.

This woman of who I speak has given and given,
No matter the circumstances she stays devoted and driven.
When the time comes for need she will support you in an instance,
There are no second thoughts, she shows no resistance.

The thought of loosing her would end all time,
Feelings of doubt would consume me and deteriorate my mind.
She is the amorous soul that has watched me mature,
She completes my existence my past, present and future.

She holds her head up high with strength under pressure.
She is the glue that holds our family together,
At one time or another she may live a long distance away,
But she dwells in an elite place in my heart and forever she will stay.

She has witnessed my rise and falls,
Like a watchful shadow, she’s been through it all.
She has greatly influenced the person I have become,
When there is rain veiling my vision she shines like the sun.

She is the blood that runs through my veins and the breaths in my lungs,
She is the beat of my heart that keeps my mind young.
She is the taste I savor and the echoes I hear,
She is my mother, my nurturer and she will always be near.
