My Mother, My Love Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

My Mother, My Love

Rating: 1.5

Looked into her eyes
Though she smiled happily
Exhibiting true maternal love as always
But behind the genuine love
The years of toil, wear and tear
Is obvious to my caring eyes
Admiration and concern swell my heart
Knowing the wear and tear
Made me who I am
As I silently pray God as always
To bless this gem every minute
More and more and more
My mother, my love.
