My Motherland Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

My Motherland

Rating: 4.0

My motherland

Not whole of universe
But of course
My motherland
That I love as real land

I shall be give place here
To rest
And lay beneath forever
Without any cover

My body shall again
Mix with clay without pain
Back to the origin
And never to be seen

For such place
I should love to cease
Give sacrifice
And stand for promise

That I shall uphold
As told
The human values
For brethren and whoever lives

Not that I shall like the big people alone
But ordinary and poor who have shown
The real way to lead in positive way
Giving better dealing and permanent stay
