Soft as morning light through lace curtains,
steady as the tide kissing the shore,
my mother's voice lives in the air around me,
a melody of comfort, a whisper of wisdom.
It carried lullabies through sleepless nights,
wrapped me in warmth when the world turned cold.
It spoke of kindness when anger clouded my mind,
reminded me of strength when I felt small.
Her words did not demand, they guided,
like hands gently shaping clay,
like a river smoothing stone,
teaching me to listen, to love, to be.
Even now, when silence settles in,
I hear her still, in echoes of memory,
in the way I speak to myself,
in the way I carry love forward.
