My Muse - Poem by Judy Meibach

I need a muse
Something, someone
To inspire me
The poets that I read
Give me boundless ideas to
Fill my mind which is
Rambling with ideas
Like a river running over
Populated by fish
Who are lost and looking for food.

My hunger inspires me
A void trying to be filled
With meaty ideas
Versus food
With unfulfilled dreams
That can be put into words

    Dear judy,
    like these lines:
    My hunger inspires me
A void trying to be filled
    With ideas

    With unfulfilled dreams

you are truly filled with ideas when u meet with poets. that is also my case
we shall write to inspire others. it is our call as poets. thank u Judy
