First I fell in love with his pies
At this restaurant, so one day
While I was there to my surprise
He came to my table to say
How pleased he was that I enjoyed
His pastries, I was so impressed
By all of him, boy was I buoyed,
Heart beating wildly in my chest.
I fell in love with him first sight.
Like pie he was a tasty piece.
But I was wrong for Mr. Right.
Our togetherness did cease.
Pastry chef lover not to be,
He ended up desserting me.
