My Poem Will Not Rhyme Poem by Bamukunda Hillary

My Poem Will Not Rhyme

.
Excuse me!
My poem will not rhyme
Its crippled with human tears
Buckled with a heart full of fears
And open hands so heavy
Diving in waters like a navy
All to ask you to love me
.
My poem will not rhyme
Not until the stanzas have a rhythm
Of the way how I feel towards you
The lines will tell of the tale love
For the lips will shout in silence
But my diction should cement the unsaid attraction
That you escort me on my love journey.
.
My poem will not rhyme
Not until our souls eat each other in every line,
As you give me your love to keep forever in every stanza,
That way we shall start our Paradise
Free from the sins of Adam and Eve,
Ours will be an amended future free from broken past
That way the poem will rhyme
And you will be a poet by default
