My Rebel Head - Poem by Damon Harper

My head split into two, with a heat, it turned me inside out/
Feeling weak and helpless once again/
I began to go crazy with the pain swelling and unstoppable/
The lights seemed to run thru me like a bullet/
Shussh.. holding still...Shussh..../
Nlack not dark enuf/
Silence not quite enuf/
Resting.
Trying not to think/
Slipping into time.. waiting to come out alive/
I do..what a ride/
