My Rose - Poem by Adriana Martin

My rose is something that will never die
It will be with me forever
Even in death.

Its red petals folding, curving, and holding
My memories.
Its smell so sweet like the I breath.
Its thorns defending the rose's beauty
Just as I protect myself.
Its green leaves growing
Like my shadow.
Its stem holds me up when I am down

defenitly unique. i love how well you compared each aspect, however it gave me a slight feeling that it was a little out of focus. great poem though.: ] (Report) Reply
