My Sins Poem by Randy McClave

My Sins

When I meet our Lord in Heaven
When my time finally does come,
For me there will not be one unanswered question
To what or where or how I came from.
I have not lied and I had not cheated
And I never judged others or abused,
Unto no one was I ever vain or conceited
How I was and acted I was not confused.
I never smoked or drank or cursed
Never did I ever rob and or stole,
And I always paid back or reimbursed
With a happy and gracious soul.
I was never judgmental or greedy
I always treated others the way Jesus wanted me to,
So, I helped the poor and the needy
I did what I believe Jesus would do.
Of course I have done many bad things
Which the Lord had forgiven me for,
Because, of him my heart it sings
As I finally come knocking at his door.
He knows how I have lived and my strife
He already knows my outs and my ins,
And when the Lord opens my book of life
The lord will not asking me about someone else's sins.
