My Sister Poem by Mary Forrester

My Sister

Rating: 4.5

Fragile, breaking
Lets have a puff
Smiling, joking
How do I look
Wine, a bottle of Chardonnay, will be fine
In, out, up and down
I'll be fine
A quivering wreck
My beautiful sister
I'll never forget

To me, sisters are like rivers originating from the same spring, traversing the world in their own meandering directions, sometimes meeting again on the way and sometimes not. In your case, it is not. Nice poem.

Hi RoseAnn, my family live abroad, but I do have two daughters and two beautiful grandchildren. Like you I have lost a member of my family, my sister aged 47 years, she decided to go and live in Australia when she was 20 years old and I never saw her again. I understand your pain, losing a family member is heartbreaking. Mary.

Definitely can't imagine not seeing my sisters for that many years. Have 6 sisters (one died) and one brother. We get together constantly for every birthday, holiday, and just because. How in the world did you manage?

I can't imagine not seeing any of my brothers or sisters for that length of time. Short and sweet poem.
