My Sister, My Friend Poem by Jeanette Telusma

My Sister, My Friend

Rating: 5.0

Life choose us to share a womb.
It choose us to be under the same roof.
In spite of our occasional rivalry
We still managed to stick together as glue.
Even though there were couple years between us
yet we lived as if we were twins.
I really enjoyed growing up with you sis.
I enjoyed the childish games we played.
Laughter and/or tears was never far away.
Singing was certainly the highlight of our
cherished moments. I Loved it and you did too.
It's been about an hour since
I last talked with you, proving our bond
remains still firm and intact.
May heavenly angels continually be by your side.
Always and Forever, my sister and my friend.

It is always a delight to read your poems, JT. This too is no exception. A great tribute to the bonhomie between two very very sweet sisters. Thanks. I quote: May heavenly angels continually be by your side. Always and Forever, my sister and my friend.
