My Soul Full Of Wonder Poem by Francis Duggan

My Soul Full Of Wonder

My soul full of wonder at things I do see
The beauty of Nature is all around me
The birds in the Parkland do whistle and sing
In three weeks we'll be saying goodbye to the Spring
When there's so much in Nature for to write about
How can there be such a thing as writers drought
Amongst the brown leaves of last Autumn's decay
The seedlings of the maple are sprouting today
When too much time we spend on our life's every care
Of the beauty around us we don't seem aware
The sunlit branches of the tall trees in the freshening winds sway
And in Nature's green Kingdom the birds sing all day
Surrounded by wildflowers that bloom midst the green
Such beauty in Nature there is to be seen.
