My Soul Left The Den Tonight Poem by Mohammad Younus

My Soul Left The Den Tonight

My soul slipped from the den tonight,
Wandering beneath the watchful moon,
Finding calmness beneath the twinkling stars,
A tranquil embrace in the night's vastness.

Today, a lovely day, a new sun dawning,
My heart echoes a soft, divine melody,
The gentle hum of creation woven through silence,
Each note a reminder of the sacred song of Alast.

Now, calm as a bird returning to its nest,
Guided by unseen hands of light,
I sink into the warmth of divine presence,
Cradled in the chest of eternal truth.

Here, I find my refuge, where my soul rests,
The best of all sanctuaries!
I am held in the infinite embrace of truth
Protected and in peace.
