My Spirit Poem by Elis Mita

My Spirit

As I go through this life at a frenzied place.
It's clear why call it the human race.
Why run to and fro with deadlines 'n goals.
With rarely a chance to rest our poor souls.
When concerns of the day I can no longer face.
I seek peaceful refuge in my hiding place.
It calms my mind and regenerates my arms.
This place of refreshing I found in my own soul, I found in my own heart.
A flowing love feast is set right before me.
By inspiration and joy, always restore me.
Engulfing essence, my sorrow start to cease.
My spirit won again, against all miseries.
While others chase dreams 'n go directly in hell.
I'll live forever as long my soul 'll be there!

Engulfing essence; but with hope. Nice work.
