My Sweet Little Black Poem by Melanie Weeks

My Sweet Little Black

I got you when you a kitten,
Now you're a cat.
You're never mean.
Your ever sittin'
On grandma's mat.
Whenever I lead,
You'll surely follow.
Your eyes are green,
Your coat is black,
That shines with a satin sheen.
When I rub your fur gently,
After you've done a good deed,
It is always nice to read
To my sweet little black.

The cats lucky to have a caring owner. Great poem.
