My Teddy Bear Poem by Michelle Dickson

My Teddy Bear

I kiss you on the lips
So gently
So tenderly
But you cant see
Your eyes are glassy
Once full of life
Now dead and dull
Death has took its toll
Your smile
Once bright and full of life
Is nothing but a memory now
The same as the love that I knew
Please come back
Please come back to me
For I wait on this porch
For death to take me away
To the place where you now lay
Whether its suicide I know not
Whether it’s a crash I do not care
For I would finally be able to see my teddy bear.
