My Thirst Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

My Thirst

Rating: 5.0

pain's tears drench my soul
my blood flowing blue, takes control
seducing both agony and ecstasy
pain exquisitely melds into pleasure
as one's closed eyes secretly smile
denying my desires, so much longer
is reality fantasy, or is it just as it is
lines beginning to blur into subjugation
or liberation, or something of one's creation
to say who is, or what is, wrong or right
sit in judgment, burning control, out of the flames
that consume my veins, placing emotions on edge
creating a rush of endorphins, that tell me I am yours
always will be that love breeding lust, laced with trust
and playing out fear's game, surrendering to my thirst
