My Thoughts And Plans Poem by Loyd C Taylor Sr

My Thoughts And Plans

In number, more
than grains of sand,
yes, loftier
than mountains grand.

In depth, more than
the ocean too;
are the thoughts, Child,
I have for you.

I know the plans
I have in store;
They are good things
And so much more.

I give my peace,
Mercy and love;
and watchful care
from high above.

My intent is
no harm to bring,
nor to withhold
any good thing.

So, trust me, Child,
then soon you'll know,
the things I do
my love to show.

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! Psalm 139: 17-22 KJV

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29: 11 KJV
