My Tombstone - Poem by Brandon Farmer

when I die I will have a tombstone
more of a marker really
the last remains of my life
a fitting farewell I suppose
someone once asked me
what if anything it will say
at the time I didn’t answer
but now I know
my tombstone will read
he got lost early
and spent the rest of his life
trying to be found
