My Toothache And I Poem by Prem Nizar Hameed

Of late, one of my teeth bade farewell without giving me
A notice period; Later, two of the neighbouring
Teeth got pained due to its departure and separation;
Now I realize what is the toothache: It's a kind of
Unbearable severe pain having no comparison!

I consulted the dental doctor and he advised me
To terminate them with a notice period forthwith,
Otherwise, your chewing service will be in deep trouble;
Earlier, I sought the assistance of cloves and garlic
To convince these two teeth in a natural way to stop
Their strike and subsequent agitation soon, but in vain;
So, I am bound to issue a termination letter
With a period of seven days; Thank you, my dear teeth,
I am always grateful to your long service to my life;
The doctor asked me to complete my justification
And prepare to undergo seven-day medication!
