If I would be asked to make a wish
I would be the happiest human being
For my wish would be a gentle wish
A wish to meet my high school mathematics teacher
Just to let her know the mathematics of life have no logarithms
I would want to take her through a walk
A walk of mathematics of life
And remind her that I have no geometrical sett
To do literary all my life mathematics
This would probably disappoint her
I would like to take her through
The mathematics of life
To realize that the grey hair that is about to pop up
Is because of the wisdom I have gained
Through proper balance of my life mathematics
My mathematics academic results would speak a contradictory message
In what I really do -comparatively -in real life
She would be proud and probably
Suggest a remark of my academic paper
Just to ensure that the discourse of the two is synchronized
Extremely original imagery which is interesting as well as thought provoking. Thank for sharing.
Education vs real life experience are sure worlds apart. Thanks for sharing the poem with us Rose.
An inspirational poem, its all about wisdom at the end of it all, above the academic papers
