My World: 03- The Kids Of Society Poem by Suratha Kumar Rout

My World: 03- The Kids Of Society

Rating: 5.0

When a kid

Jumps off her belly

A mother suffers

But happy at her

Kids' playfulness

Her kid remains a kid

For ever.

But these leaders

Never want to be a mother

Of these kids,

Their subjects,

These people.

I like the way you have written this poem: the association between mother in the first stanza, and the government in the second stanza, is great.
