Myself Poem by ameya deshpande

Myself

Rating: 5.0

I am the city who never sleeps at night
I am the grassland where sun shines very bright

I am the sky where birds fly very high
I am that holy place where you don't have to lie

I am the night where millions of distant stars shine
I am the oasis in the desert where everything is fine

I am a calm lake where you can see your own reflection
I am that beautiful song on the radio from your favorite selection

I am that massive tree who has grown very tall
I am the perfect utopia where you will forget all

I am the lion who roars very loud
I am an individual apart from any crowd

Beautiful poem, Ameya. When we are completely in harmony with nature, we are receptive to its countless bounties. That is what shapes our inner self. Thanks for sharing.
