Mysterious Are Your Ways, O God! Poem by Mohammad Younus

Mysterious Are Your Ways, O God!

Mysterious are Your ways, O God,
Beyond all sight and mortal thought,
Yet shining through the veil of time,
With wonders that Your hands have wrought.

The mountains bow, the heavens bend,
All creation yields to Your might;
An endless song of awe and grace,
A beacon in eternal light.

With unseen hands, You shape the spheres,
Breathing life in dust and clay;
Lifting the lowly, drying their tears,
And guiding us along Your way.

You were, You are, and yet shall be—
An eternal flame, a radiant sun;
A whisper soft in morning's glow,
The source from which all rivers run.

You split the seas, part clouds above;
At Your command, the shadows flee.
Yet gentle too, in life's first breath,
You grant us strength and set us free.

You name the stars, their shifting course,
And light their paths with endless grace.
No height can reach, no depth conceal—
All reflects Your radiant face.

O Only One, we lift our song,
Through darkened nights and brightest days.
Our refuge strong, Lord of all worlds,
Forevermore, we seek Your ways.

In You, we find abiding peace,
A calm that bids the world to cease.
From turmoil, noise, and fleeting strife,
We rest, O Lord, within Your life.
